Μία εξάχρονη καλλιτέχνης από τη Βρετανία μπορεί σύντομα να δει έργο της να φιλοξενείται σε αμερικανική γκαλερί, αφού προσέλκυσε την προσοχή ισχυρών θαυμαστών όταν η δασκάλα της επέκρινε τη ζωγραφική της.
Η μητέρα της, Τζέμα Λέιτον ανάρτησε φωτογραφία της ζωγραφιάς ενός δεντρόφυτου μονοπατιού στο Twitter λέγοντας στους ακολούθους της: «Η 6χρονη κόρη μου ζωγράφισε αυτήν την καταπληκτική σκηνή. Η δασκάλα των καλλιτεχνικών της είπε ότι την έκανε λάθος; Δεν μπορείς να κάνεις λάθος στην τέχνη! Ήταν τόσο αναστατωμένη, καθώς η ζωγραφική είναι η αγαπημένη της ασχολία».
Η μητέρα ζήτησε από τους χρήστες της πλατφόρμας κοινωνικής δικτύωσης να εκφράσουν στην κόρη της, Έντι, την υποστήριξή τους και χιλιάδες έκαναν retweet με περισσότερους από 136.000 ανθρώπους να δηλώνουν ότι τους αρέσει το έργο, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της Διευθύντριας Τεχνών και Πολιτισμού του Ντιτρόιτ, Ρόσελ Ράιλι η οποία έγραψε στη μητέρα της μικρής: «Παρακαλώ ρωτήστε την Έντι αν μπορώ να αγοράσω το έργο ζωγραφικής της. Είναι όμορφο! Και το θέλω».
