Η Αφή της Ολυμπιακής Φλόγας είναι μια τελετή που γίνεται στην Αρχαία Ολυμπία, πριν από κάθε Ολυμπιάδα. Η φλόγα ανάβει με τη βοήθεια του ήλιου και ενός κοίλου κατόπτρου από την πρωθιέρεια στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο του ναού της Ήρας, και το τελετουργικό σηματοδοτεί την έναρξη των Αγώνων.
Η φλόγα, που ανάβεται από τις ακτίνες του ήλιου, συμβολίζει τον πολιτισμό, τη δύναμη της φύσης και την ένωση των πέντε ηπείρων. Η ιδέα της τελετής και της λαμπαδηδρομίας αποδίδεται στον Γερμανό καθηγητή Καρλ Ντιμ. Η τελετή εγκαινιάστηκε το 1936 για τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Βερολίνου. Αποτελεί μια από τις κορυφαίες στιγμές κάθε ολυμπιακής διοργάνωσης.
Για τους Χειμερινούς Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες Milano Cortina 2026 πρωθιέρεια της Τελετής Αφής της Ολυμπιακής Φλόγας θα είναι η σπουδαία ηθοποιός Μαίρη Μηνά. Η Αφή της Ολυμπιακής Φλόγας θα γίνει στην Αρχαία Ολυμπία στις 26 Νοεμβρίου και η παράδοσή της θα γίνει στο Παναθηναϊκό Στάδιο στις 4 Δεκεμβρίου.
