Βλέπετε ένα Λαμασού… Έχει τη μορφή αγάλματος φτερωτού με σώμα ταύρου, ανθρώπινο κεφάλι και πόδια λιονταριού της ασσυριακής θεότητας.
Είναι μήκους περίπου 4,3 μέτρων. Βρισκόταν στην είσοδο της Πύλης Νεργκάλ της Νινευή από το 700 π.Χ. μέχρι τον Φεβρουάριο του 2015. Τότε το ISIS το κατέστρεψε μαζί με αντικείμενα στο κοντινό Μουσείο της Μοσούλης στο Ιράκ.
Η εμβληματική γλυπτική εγκατάσταση βρίσκεται στον περιβάλλοντα χώρο του Μουσείου της Ακρόπολης, στην αρχαία γειτονιά. Aποτελεί το 2ο μέρος της τριλογίας Michael Rakowitz & Ancient Cultures. Την παρουσιάζουν το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού, το Μουσείο Ακρόπολης και ο ΝΕΟΝ.
