Και όμως η φωτογραφία είναι από το χιονοδρομικό κέντρο Ανηλίου στα Γιάννενα όπου αποκαλύπτει τη σημερινή χιονόπτωση.
Το χιονοδρομικό κέντρο είναι ανεβασμένο στην κορυφή της Πίνδου, με συγκριτικό πλεονέκτημα την εύκολη και άμεση πρόσβαση μέσω της Εγνατίας Οδού και είναι μόλις 50 χιλιόμετρα από τα Γιάννενα.
Την άνοιξη και το καλοκαίρι το τοπίο αλλάζει, το δάσος αποκτά τα φυσικά του χρώματα με την οξιά, το πεύκο και το έλατο να κυριαρχούν, σε έκταση περίπου 22.000 στρεμμάτων. Οι εναλλαγές της φύσης είναι εντυπωσιακές, η κορυφή προσκαλεί τον επισκέπτη σε μια μοναδική θέα προς την Τύμφη, τον Όλυμπο, τα Τζουμέρκα και το Γράμμο.
Το Χιονοδρομικό Κέντρο Ανηλίου ξεκίνησε να λειτουργεί το 2012 και αποτελεί το νεότερο χιονοδρομικό κέντρο στην Ελλάδα.
