Στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος “Προσφέρω”, η περιβαλλοντική οργάνωση iSea πραγματοποίησε υποθαλάσσιους καθαρισμούς στη Σύρο. Από την παραλία Κίνι συλλέχθηκαν 3 kg απορριμμάτων, που ήταν καταστροφικά για το περιβάλλον, εκ των οποίων το 88% του συνόλου ήταν πλαστικά όπως σχοινιά, αποτσίγαρα, σακούλες, καλαμάκια, κομμάτια από πλαστικό μεγαλύτερα από 2,5 cm.
Από τις μαρίνες Κίνι, Φοίνικα και Λαζαρέτα, ανασύρθηκαν 1228 kg απορριμμάτων εκ των οποίων το 49% ήταν πλαστικά και το 23% μεταλλικά. Ανάμεσά τους πλαστικά μπουκάλια, πλαστικά μίας χρήσης, ελαστικά οχημάτων, αλουμινένια κουτάκια και οικοδομικά υλικά, ενώ βρέθηκαν επίσης και κιάλια, μαξιλάρι, καρέκλες και παγίδες ψαρέματος.
