Η Ολυμπιακή Φλόγα θα ανάψει και πάλι στην Ιερή Γη της Αρχαίας Ολυμπίας στις 16 Απριλίου 2024, για να ξεκινήσει το ταξίδι της προς τη γαλλική πρωτεύουσα, για τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες «Παρίσι 2024».
Η Ολυμπιακή Φλόγα θα “γεννηθεί” στα χέρια της Πρωθιέρειας Μαίρης Μηνά, ενώ τη χορογραφία έχει εμπνευστεί και σκηνοθετήσει η χορογράφος Άρτεμις Ιγνατίου, σε μουσική σύνθεση Δημήτρη Παπαδημητρίου. Θα την εκτελέσουν 35 Ιέρειες και 15 Κούροι. Τις ενδυμασίες των συντελεστών του χορού έχει δημιουργήσει η διεθνούς φήμη σχεδιάστρια Μαίρη Κατράντζου.
Ο Ολυμπιακός Ύμνος θα ερμηνευτεί από την κορυφαία Mezzo – Soprano Joyce DiDonato και Master of Ceremonies θα είναι ο καταξιωμένος δημοσιογράφος, Νίκος Αλιάγας.
Την Ολυμπιακή Φλόγα θα παραλάβει από τα χέρια της Πρωθιέρειας Μαίρης Μηνά, ο χρυσός Ολυμπιονίκης Στέφανος Ντούσκος για να ξεκινήσει η Λαμπαδηδρομία επί ελληνικού εδάφους που θα διαρκέσει 11 ημέρες, έως τις 26 Απριλίου.
