Οι χαρακτήρες του Μαυρογιαλούρου και του Γκρούεζα — που υποδύεται ο μοναδικός Διονύσης Παπαγιαννόπουλος — έγιναν διαχρονικά σύμβολα, πέρασαν στη λαϊκή μνήμη και στη γλώσσα μας. Έγιναν τρόπος να περιγράψουμε την ίδια την πολιτική μας πραγματικότητα.
