Τις τελευταίες ημέρες, παρακολουθούμε όλοι με μεγάλη αγωνία τις εξελίξεις στη Δαδιά και σε τόσα άλλα μέρη όπου οι φλόγες καταπίνουν ολόκληρους βιότοπους, υποχρεώνοντας χιλιάδες ζώα να αναζητήσουν καταφύγιο σε όμορες περιοχές.
Οι εικόνες μάλιστα από κοπάδια Λευκοπελαργών σε στύλους ή χωράφια κοντά σε ενεργές εστίες, έκανε πολλούς πολίτες να απευθυνθούν και στην Ορνιθολογική Εταιρεία αναζητώντας οδηγίες για το πώς μπορούν να βοηθήσουν τα κυνηγημένα πουλιά.
Οι επιστήμονες επισημαίνουν ότι οι ομάδες πελαργών έχουν ξεκινήσει για το μεγάλο ταξίδι της επιστροφής προς τα μέρη όπου θα διαχειμάσουν. Σημειώνουν πως δεν χρειάζονται τη βοήθειά μας για να τραφούν και να ξεδιψάσουν.
