Μια υπέροχη εικόνα της νυχτερινής Αθήνας, έτσι όπως φαίνεται από τον Διεθνή Διαστημικό Σταθμό, δημοσίευσε Γάλλος αστροναύτης του Ευρωπαϊκού Οργανισμού Διαστήματος– ESA.
H ολοφώτιστη Αθήνα μοιάζει μεγαλοπρεπής μέσα στη νύχτα με το ανεκτίμητο στολίδι της, την Ακρόπολη, να ξεχωρίζει ανάμεσα στον υπόλοιπο φωτισμό, όπως αναφέρει και ο αστροναύτης:
«Η Αθήνα είναι τόσο έντονη τη νύχτα όσο και κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας», αναφέρει ο Thomas Pesquet. «Τη νύχτα, ο διαφορετικός φωτισμός σε διάφορες περιοχές είναι αξιοσημείωτος, αλλά και η Ακρόπολη διακρίνεται εύκολα», σημειώνει ο Thomas Pesquet στο λογαριασμό του Ευρωπαϊκού Οργανισμού Διαστήματος-ESA στο facebook.
