Ο λόγος για το Βαθύ Μουζί είναι ένα από τα σπηλαιοβάραθρα που υπάρχουν στην Έρημο της Λακωνίας. Ανεξερεύνητο μυστήριο και απίστευτοι θρύλοι για ξωτικά ακολουθούν και αυτό το απόκοσμο γεωλογικό φαινόμενο.
Μια «μαύρη τρύπα» που είναι το μοναδικό σημείο που δεν βλέπει ο ήλιος της Μάνης. Οι κάθετοι “τοίχοι” του προκαλούν δέος και χάρη σ’ αυτούς και το μεγάλο βάθος που έχει, δημιουργούνται οι ιδανικές συνθήκες για ένα μικρό δάσος στο εσωτερικό του. Η υγρασία που παγιδεύεται εκεί και η ελάχιστη ηλιοφάνεια που μπαίνει στο βάραθρο τροφοδοτούν τα μοναδικά στην περιοχή δέντρα, ώστε να έχουν ευδοκιμήσει και να ανταγωνίζονται ποιο θα μπορέσει να βγει πρώτο πάνω από την επιφάνεια του εδάφους.
Οι διαστάσεις της «Μαύρης Τρύπας» είναι 50×30 μέτρα. Ένα πραγματικό θαύμα της φύσης που κυριολεκτικά σου δίνει την αίσθηση ότι βρίσκεσαι σε άλλον πλανήτη. Στο εσωτερικό της έχουν βρεθεί μεγάλες συκιές και οστά ζώων.
