Εκπομπές σκόνης από τη Λιβύη και την Αίγυπτο μεταφέρονται προς τη χώρα μας. Αναμένεται να την επηρεάσουν από σήμερα έως και την Πέμπτη.
Όπως αναφέρει ο κόμβος πληροφόρησης για την ατμοσφαιρική σύσταση στην Ελλάδα, AtmoHub, το φαινόμενο θα συνοδεύεται από εκτεταμένες βροχοπτώσεις. Αρχικά θα εμφανιστούν στη Δυτική Ελλάδα και στη συνέχεια στο σύνολο της χώρας.
Οι βροχές θα εκδηλωθούν σε πολλές περιοχές με τη μορφή λασποβροχών. Παράλληλα, θα συμβάλλουν στη μείωση των συγκεντρώσεων σκόνης κοντά στην επιφάνεια.
Ωστόσο, οι νοτιότερες περιοχές και εκείνες με πιο περιορισμένα φαινόμενα βροχής αναμένεται να παρουσιάσουν μεγαλύτερη επιβάρυνση της ποιότητας του αέρα αύριο και μεθαύριο, κυρίως:
• Κυκλάδες
• Κρήτη
• Δωδεκάνησα (ιδιαίτερα Κάσος, Κάρπαθος, Σύμη και Ρόδος)
