Από την ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων της τελευταίας απογραφής, που διενήργησε η ΕΛΣΤΑΤ, προκύπτει ότι οι περισσότερες γυναίκες στους Δήμους όλης της Ελλάδα καταγράφηκαν στον δήμο Φιλοθέης- Ψυχικού.
Σε σύνολο 27.400 εγγεγραμμένων κατοίκων, οι 12.393 είναι άνδρες και οι γυναίκες 15.007, καλύπτοντας ποσοστό 54,8%.
Ο Δήμος Φιλοθέης Ψυχικού είναι ένας από τους δώδεκα δήμους του Βορείου Τομέα της Αθήνας στην Περιφέρεια Αττικής.
Η ιστορία του Ψυχικού ανάγεται στα χρόνια της μικρασιατικής καταστροφής και στη δημιουργία του κεντρικού συνοικισμού από τεχνική εταιρία, ενώ η έκταση βόρεια του Ψυχικού αγοράστηκε από Αιγυπτιώτες Έλληνες με σκοπό τη δημιουργία οικισμού στα πρότυπα κηπούπολης με την ονομασία Νέα Αλεξάνδρεια στην περιοχή όπου κατείχε μεγάλες εκτάσεις η Αγία Φιλοθέη η Αθηναία.
Πάντως, για την ιστορία ποσοστιαία, οι περισσότεροι άνδρες εξυπακούεται ότι είναι στο Άγιο Όρος (100%).
