Βλέπετε ένα πήλινο σύμπλεγμα Έρωτα και Ψυχής, από το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Πέλλας. Χρονολογείται στις αρχές του 1ου αι. π.Χ.Από το έργο λείπουν τμήμα του σώματος της Ψυχής και τα πόδια του Έρωτα. Δεν διατηρήθηκαν τα χρώματα που αρχικά χρωμάτιζαν την επιφάνεια των ειδωλίων. Μέγιστο σωζόμενο ύψος 10 εκατοστά.
Το σύμπλεγμα Έρωτα και Ψυχής συμβολίζει την αγνή αγάπη, την αγνή ένωση.
Η κεραμική παραγωγή (αγγεία και ειδώλια) της Πέλλας ήταν γνωστή στην ελληνιστική εποχή. Στις ανασκαφές της αρχαίας πόλης έχουν έρθει στο φως μεγάλος αριθμός κεραμικών εργαστηρίων. Το ειδώλιο πιθανότατα κατασκευάστηκε σε εργαστήριο στην περιοχή της Αγοράς.
Ο φτερωτός Έρωτας, στα δεξιά του θεατή, που αγκαλιάζει και φιλά την Ψυχή, που βρίσκεται στα αριστερά του θεατή, εκτίθεται στη μόνιμη συλλογή του Μουσείου, στην ενότητα Δημόσιος Βίος και Αγορά.
